Workshops with Purpose
All workshops run with A Kindsugi Future are inclusive, and are about creating a space of meaningful creation and skills development, through a nourishing and values-driven experience with like-minded others. We also wanted to make these workshops a way for us to connect as a broader community too, with integrated acts of kindness that support and care about our fellow humans who may be going through a tough time at the moment.
We’d love to have you along. Sign-up either through the bookings buttons below, or feel free to send us an email at: hello@kindsugi.org or call: 0406 533 304.
Learn to hand-make pasta from scratch
$55. Group bookings available.
Run in collaboration with the amazing Pasta Journey, these workshops involve learning how to hand-make two types of pasta. You’ll make enough pasta to take home and cook yourself a tasty dinner, as well as a portion to donate to The Living Room, a health service in the Melbourne CBD for young people at-risk of or experiencing homelessness, run by Youth Projects.
Learn to sew upcycled cards, gift tags & bookmarks
$45. Discount for repeat attendance. Group bookings available.
Using only second-hand materials salvaged and rescued from becoming waste, these workshops involve creating new and beautiful upcycled creations. Participants make creations for themselves, for the environment, and can also contribute to our Stitches for Strength initiative. The Stitches for Strength initiative involves stitching a bookmark for a person experiencing hardship, with a message of support and strength personally included on it by it’s maker.
NDIS adult day programs
Individual and group bookings available.
For-purpose activities often become an experience of privilege and exclude people with different access needs, even though the benefits are universally valuable and important for all.
We’re therefore passionate about making our for-purpose activities accessible and inclusive, for everyone. This includes our upcycled crafting and involvement in the Stitches for Strength initiative, as well as pasta making and the opportunity to create extra for young people experiencing homelessness.
